What is aminophenazone

Aminophenazone is a pyrazolone with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and Antipyretic properties but has risk of agranulocytosis. White or almost white crystalline powder; odorless, slightly bitter taste; case of light variable quality; aqueous solution alkaline reaction.

Function of aminophenazone

The methylated reactant was put into a hydrolysis tank containing sodium hydroxide solution and stirred for 3h hydrolysis at 100-110ºC. Stratify after standing,  take antipyrine oil layer and put it in the crystallization tank, dilute it with distilled water, stir it, cool it to below 10ºC, precipitate the crystal, filter it, wash it with water, and dry the antipyrine crude. Crude products with distilled water recrystallization, activated carbon decolorization, the finished product.

Application of aminophenazone

Aminopyrine as antipyretic analgesic anti-inflammatory drug pyrazole ketones, inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandin E1 in the front of the hypothalamus neurons and release, to restore the normal reaction of the temperature regulating center feeling neurons and Antifebrile effect.Amidopyrine also inhibit inflammation in local tissue of prostaglandin synthesis and release, stabilize lysosomal membrane, influence the phagocytosis of phagocytic cells, and have anti-inflammatory effect.
